** More detailed instructions are in the "RMTool - WhoopA (NEWEST)" folder. **

Although the new version is an improvement (in most ways) over the previous one, it still has some bugs in it.

So, to be safe, make a backup copy of your game BEFORE you scan it with RMTool.

** BUGS APLENTY **

- The following bugs all apply to the new WhoopA version (too) unless otherwise stated

- When scanning RPG Maker 2003 games, it cannot locate any files in the Battle2 folder. So, it will report those files as 'missing' even if they are actually there--in the Battle2 folder.

- It also can't properly display any filenames that have Japanese/some other foreign characters--it displays them as gibberish.

- The Purge feature is not 100% reliable (there's a chance it may delete files that your game NEEDS)

- If the scan reports that "Sound file - (OFF)" or "Sound file - Holiness1" are missing, just ignore it as this is another weird bug.

- In fact, from time to time, RMTool will improperly report missing files that are not even real files--often you can tell that this is the case because the 'missing' files will have either: no filename (blank space); a file name that consists of a single or few strange character(s); or a file name that consists of a phrase or sentence (which is actually a part of the game's dialogue or something).

** NOT REALLY BUGS, BUT STILL NEEDED TO BE MENTIONED **

- RMTool should be able to scan games made by European and Asian versions of RPG Maker, or games made with a patched/hacked version of RPG Maker, but it may not give 100% accurate results. (Y.M.M.V)

- It can't scan any games which have been locked. So, if you get this error message: "Invalid database. Scan halted." it means that the game has been locked.

- Occassionally, a game which can be scanned by the old version cannot be scanned by this newer version. So, that's why the old version was also included. The old version also has some features that were removed from the new one. So, try the old version if the newer one isn't getting the job done for you.

** And once again to be safe, make a backup copy of your game BEFORE you scan it with either RMTool. **

WhoopA & Comet Studios made it. So, credit / blame them.)
